Jamie + Mike's

Boho Riverside Wedding

Mountain meets boho, in the most literal sense. The Flatirons stood watch over a ceremony set right at the river’s edge, water rushing past as Jamie and Michael said their vows on a hand-laid rug, nothing between them and the view. They walked back up the aisle in fresh flower leis, laughing, both of them lit up the way people only are on the best day of their lives. Every photo from that afternoon holds it: her father’s face cracking into a full laugh on the walk down, the groomsmen pointing and grinning before the ceremony even started, the bride’s hands wrapped around her wildflower bouquet like she couldn’t put it down.

The reception carried that same energy into the evening. A single hanging installation of trailing greenery and white orchids drifted above the dance floor under a tent strung with light. Magenta peonies, blue thistle, and marigold ran warm against the surrounding pines. Guests found their seats on handmade dreamcatchers, each one carried home by Jamie herself from a trip to Mexico, hung beneath a sign that read “So I can kiss you anytime I want.”

When night fell, the property transformed: trees wrapped in light from trunk to canopy, a draped teepee strung with a crystal-and-floral chandelier where the two slipped away for a few quiet minutes, a fire pit nearby stacked with s’mores, cigars, and the family’s own whiskey barrel. Every corner of the property was doing something different, and every guest looked like they were exactly where they wanted to be.
