Bob’s 60th surprise party didn’t pick one theme. It earned several. Guests walked into a tribute built around “With a Little Help From My Friends,” complete with a glowing Abbey Road crosswalk installation and Beatles lyric posters that hung as a guest book art display, where friends and family wrote their messages directly onto the artwork for Bob to keep and display at home. A balloon-covered ceiling held decades of Bob’s photos, each one hanging from a ribbon for guests to find as the night went on.

From there, the party leaned into Bob’s world. A blackjack table kept guests in the game all night, a cigar lounge gave the rooftop fire pit some company, and Bob’s own Harley took center stage for photo ops with friends and family. Streamers and ribbon lights swirled through the celebration, fitting for sixty years that clearly called for more than one party theme.
